Every request runs two layers of analysis, computed locally with no external AI model involved. First, eight document-level signals are scored and combined into a base result. "Sentences Flagged" percentage
Separate from the headline score - this is the share of individual sentences that independently tripped a flag, the same "how much of this document looks AI-written" framing commercial detectors use. A high overall score with a low flagged percentage usually means one or two signals are doing most of the work; a high flagged percentage means the pattern runs through the whole document.
Readability score
